Blog 3: My Dream Job

 Warm salutations, today I'm going to talk about the kind of job that I would like to do in the future. For me it's a very difficult choice because there are a lot of things that influence a dream or good job. In my case as I study sociology, the first difficulty that influences the type of job that you will have is the area in which you specialize. To that is added if you want to investigue or not and if you want to work in the public or private sector. In my case I like data science and theoretical topics related to artificial intelligence and epistemology. 

For my personality and the way I see things, I would really like to be a university professor. The skills and knowledge you should have for this kind of job include various postgraduate courses such as a master and doctorate. In that sense I consider that it is quite difficult to achieve that job, but I would be willing to sacrifice what it takes to get it. 

In that kind of job you don't travel too much, but the truth is that it depends on your occupation as a researcher. In my experience, I have seen that many professors travel at least once a year to sociology congresses. I really like that because traveling and gaining knowledge is wonderful. Finally, Regarding the salary, I think that it does not matter so much to me if I can get to work in granting knowledge.In any case, the salary will depend on your occupations, prestige and also if you take classes at more universities.
